Company History
Established in 2024 by educator, trainer, and certified life coach Mykal Ward, InnerSpark Coaching empowers individuals and groups, fostering self-love and personal growth as well as professional development, through compassionate guidance and innovative strategies.
Our founder is an experienced educator who has faced burnout firsthand, providing a unique perspective and empathetic approach to coaching.
Our mission is to create a supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their goals, overcome obstacles, and cultivate a fulfilling life. We believe that every individual has an inner spark waiting to be ignited, and we are here to help you discover it.
Meet the Coach
Mykal began her career teaching middle and high school for over 20 years. She now owns and manages InnerSpark Coaching LLC, in Grand Rapids, MI., and is also the Training and Education Manager at Safe Haven Ministries.
Her history and survivorship have strengthened her resolve to help others see, know, and love themselves beyond whatever they may be facing. Mykal’s poetry collections, Cast Iron Butterflies and Following Breadcrumbs help others to feel seen, understood, and empowered.
